Germany announces 1,122 new COVID-19 cases

BERLIN, 8th August, 2020 (WAM) -- Germany on Saturday announced 1,122 new coronavirus, COVID-19, cases, bringing the total infections in the country to 215,336. Reuters quoted data from the Robert Koch Institute for infectious diseases as saying that the reported death toll rose by 12, taking the tally of fatalities to 9,195.
